Welcome to the Wicked Truth
Wicked Truth is about changing the world, but to do this we have to start with our community and ourselves first. We as youth see problems every day in our neighborhoods such as, drugs, gangs, poverty and homelessness. The following statement, from last year's team, represents the sprit of what Wicked Truth is about. "We, as the people of the world, regardless of ethnic background or where you come from, must come together as a whole to take action about the important issues going on throughout the world". We hope that the site and its message leaves people thinking about the things that they want to do to change their community.
Wicked Truth is an Alternatives, Inc project. This website was created by the youth at Alternatives. At Alternatives there are different programs that run on a daily basis. This program is free and open to all youth. It brings excitement to the youth that come here.
To do things like help the community you have to start by helping yourself first and set your mind to it that you can do it. Start by helping your self first means in order to help someone you have to first give your own self the help you need then start helping the community.
