Welcome to Wicked Truth: What’s the Story? Our program is now accepting applications for the Winter/Spring semester!

If you’re interested in applying please call Ryan or Maggie at (773).506.7474 or visit www.afterschoolmatters.org

Here are the basics of what you need to know:

-This is a 10-week program meeting Mondays & Wednesdays from 3:30-7 and Fridays from 3:30-5:30 starting on February 1st.

-The program provides youth with the opportunity to get paid up to 400 dollars to make digital short films. When participants show up to work they learn about filmmaking techniques and editing skills, and then use those skills to make films that are screened to the community. Participants are required to come up with their own stories and decide how to tell them. To see examples of what kind of films we’ve made before check out our postings from the Fall/Winter semester.
